Frequently Asked Questions

The syllabus of the students' school, be it local or international, will be covered.  

Enrolment comes after an assessment, probably conducted during a trial class. 

To enrol, a refundable deposit is payable, as are advance fees for the first month.

To discontinue classes:

• All fees must be fully paid.
• A two-month notice, via email or Whatsapp, is required to claim the refundable deposit. 

• Online classes are conducted through Zoom. 
• Students use Google Classroom for classwork, study materials and assignments.  

To attend online classes, students must have suitable devices. 

• Laptops or desktop computers are preferable.  
• Working cameras and microphones make it a proper class.
• Handphones are unsuitable and tablets are discouraged. 

• The camera allows visual interaction between students. 
• The microphone allows verbal connection. 

Without the above, there is no "class," as we know it. Attention span would be compromised. The teacher is hardly "in touch" with the student. Exchanges between students are difficult and teacher-student communication is virtually non-existant. 

• Google Classroom is difficult for students to navigate on handphones and laptops. 
• The teacher cannot monitor the student's work in class through these devices. 

A quiet environment is essential for optimum concentration for the student and the least disruption to the whole class.

The students would be offered support to catch-up on missed work. With valid excuse for absence, there may be more alternatives.
